Generally in astrology there are two marriage significator planet which define what type of partner they will get. Jupiter and Venus is the most important planet when we look for the married life because Jupiter is the husband in a women chart and Venus is the wife in a man chart. By looking at the house in which these planets are placed one can tell about the place where one can meet the spouse and by their sign placement one can tell about temperament of the spouse. 

If a woman have Jupiter in cancer sign in the 12th house its mean the women will get husband in foreign land who will be very rich because 12th house represents foreign land and Jupiter exalted in cancer sign.

If a man have Venus in 11th house in the sign of Pisces its mean the person get a spouse in social circle who is very loving and spiritual in nature.

Next one should look for the darakaraka in gemini astrology. Darakaraka is the planet which have lowest degree in the chart which signify the nature of the spouse. Depending on which planet has the lowest degree the person get spouse according the planet nature.

If there is any planet place in the seventh house can shows the environment of the married life. if mars is the 7th house it shows the partner have very aggrasive and argumentative relationship with each other.
