Rahu in 3rd and Ketu in 9th House
Rahu and Ketu in astrology are the demons who want to taste the nectar of the world, and for that they can do anything. In Hindu mythology story of churning ocean of the milk is related with our subconscious mind. Rahu and Ketu are lunar node which play very important role in evolving the human conscious. We all human beings have some internal questions and there is always some internal dialogue going on in our mind on what is right or what is wrong. Rahu and Ketu are the confusion, illusion, smoke and split thought of the mind. They always helping in to evolve human conscious. They are always in the opposite axis therefor they are always 180 degree apart.
Rahu is the head which want to eat it is obsession over the house where it is placed in the birth chart. It is our inner present life desire; with we are born with. Ketu is the body without head, it is our past life experience of life. It is already filled for those experiences and detached, disinterest for those thing where it is placed in the chart. Although they are not the physical planet but they are the most influential forces in the chart. It is the Rahu/Ketu axis through which the main force of karmic desire can be seen.
So what happened when Rahu/Ketu axis fall in the 3rd and 9th house. House is the area of life. Rahu placement in the house shows the area of life in which we need to develop mentally and Ketu shows the area of life where we withdraw ourselves.
3rd house is the house of communication, courage, will power, short distance traveling, neighborhood, siblings, ideas and will.
9th house is the house of belief system, religion, philosophy, teachers, higher learning, long distance traveling and teaching of guru.
So what happen when Rahu comes in 3rd house and Ketu in 9th house:
Rahu (North Node) in 3rd house:
show obsession towards new ideas, and have strong will power and Ketu (South Node) withdraw from belief system which impose on him from the other people.
These people like to explore their inner nature, they like to expand their horizons both of the mind and the world level. They like to seek the truth on the basis of philosophical metaphysical plane. These people are very courageous, open expansive minded, and optimistic in nature. These people have very curious mind and they like to communicate with the people to learn all the aspect of life what they want to learn.
Rahu in the 3rd house looking for their own belief and the person ask lot of question about religion. This the axis of belief and self will the native is obsessed over believe and they like to test those believes. These people have lot of courage and self will to explore their own knowledge about spiritual and religious teaching. They test their understanding of any spiritual and religion based on their own understanding of any ideas, they just don’t follow blindly any spiritual guru or any religious teaching.
Ketu (South Node) in 9th house:
Ketu is our past life mind conditioning shows the person was guided by teachers and gurus, and the person religion and belief system define by the guru in the past or in childhood. Therefore these people are very skeptical about their belief system. Therefore they are very critical about religious and spiritual teaching. They want to search their own belief and religion. These people may born in orthodox family where their family believes system is very strong, due to that they rebel against their family belief system and finding their own truth.
Rahu is a intelligence force with in us through Rahu people invent something. If Rahu is not present we can’t think differently and can’t do things differently. Here Rahu is searching for how things work not just believing something according to the others.
But native need to be careful not to reject traditional form of spirituality and religion just due to their own belief. These people need to keep balanced with their new believe of any region or spirituality so that they can not harm himself and others religious views. They need to careful be patient in searching something and not indulge any argument with someone just to prove their point of their new belief system.
